Whether it was removing tree tubes at Waterheads, doing scrub management at Granton Castle Walled Garden, removing saplings on bogs, or continuing the great battle with Rhododendron at Whim, Gifford, and Humbie, there were plenty of tasks to get our boots dug in this summer.

After a full and varied summer season when we had our first week-long resi revisiting Taynish and Moine Mhor we embark on the next quarter where we have another full and varied menu of new and old sites. Our new minibus is rapidly approaching its first birthday (no cake required) and has provided sterling service. I look forward to seeing everyone new and old in the future.
