Coordinator's Comments

COVID-19 outbreak: As of 21st March 2022 all major restrictions have been lifted. Our task programme will continue as before.

From 1st April we have significantly increase the number of volunteers permitted in our minibus. While full capacity won't be achieved for a while yet, we hope this will make it easier for you to come on task with us. Face-masks (unless exempt) will continue to be required on our minibus.

Lateral flow testing is no longer generally available. As before, volunteers who are experiencing symptoms should not attend tasks

Welcome to another LCV season following on from a successful summer including our sunniest ever trip to Taynish, where we enjoyed a day trip to the tropical paradise of Gigha.

Our autumn and early winter programme is beginning with trips to old favourites including a weekend resi to Carsegowan and a healthy sprinkling of new sites. This quarter we also welcome a new driver to the fold - thanks Susie - but as we are starting to increase our offer of Saturday tasks once more we are starting to have a pressing requirement for a few additional task leaders. If you think you could give this a go please have a chat with myself, or any member of the committee.

We also need to say thanks to Edith who has taken over the Tools Officer's role which has been vacant for a while, and to Heili for her efforts as Publicity Officer. We wish Heili all the best in her new job and are glad to welcome James, who has now taken over this role, and was thrown right in at the deep end with an excellent day at the Volunteer Fair.
