Coordinator's Comments

COVID-19 outbreak: As of 21st March 2022 all major restrictions have been lifted. Our task programme will continue as before.

From 1st April we have significantly increase the number of volunteers permitted in our minibus. While full capacity won't be achieved for a while yet, we hope this will make it easier for you to come on task with us. Face-masks (unless exempt) will continue to be required on our minibus.

Lateral flow testing is no longer generally available. As before, volunteers who are experiencing symptoms should not attend tasks

Following a successful winter of activity we are looking forward to a busy spring, which will include our AGM on 9th May. This will be our first AGM under our new corporate identity as a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation.

I would like to thank David Monaghan, who got the ball rolling on this, Louisa Martin for all her work over many, many months seeing it all through, David Nutter for tolerating the complications to his accounts and everyone on the committee for being patient with the endless discussions as well as doing their own jobs so well. There is still a bit of paperwork to be finalised with OSCR but this should be sorted soon and this change will help us to move forward on a more sustainable basis.

Although sadly, the ongoing lack of a Social Coordinator means that we are only able to offer a limited programme of social events this quarter I would very much like to welcome Meryl Norris to the committee where she has taken over the Fundraising role. If anyone would be interested in taking over the Mucker Editor's role then we would be very happy to hear from you but in the meantime I look forward to seeing you all out and about soon.
