COVID-19 outbreak: Local tasks will resume from 11th April. We will be adding tasks on a rolling basis; please keep checking the task list page for updates.
On 2021-03-16 the Scottish Government released a timetable for easing the coronavirus restrictions which sets dates for the easing of various restrictions in Scotland. Tasks in the Edinburgh area will resume in April with the first task on 11th April at Granton Castle Walled Garden. Assuming no delays in the timetable we expect to restart tasks outside Edinburgh in mid May.
At present we do not have a full task programme but we hope to add more tasks in the near future.
The Lothians Conservation Volunteers carry out practical nature conservation work every weekend in and around Edinburgh and the Lothians for the benefit of wildlife, people and the environment.
We are pleased to announce that we are resuming our conservation tasks. From 11th April we shall restart tasks in the Edinburgh area, and (hopefully) we will be able to have tasks further afield from May.
Due to the continuing high level of risk from Coronavirus, we have cancelled our tasks up to and including the 14th of February. It is likely that further cancellations will follow. Please click through to the tasks page for the latest updates
Our winter programme for the new year is now available.
